Christ Church Heiloo currently supports six mission partners.
All for Africa’s Children Today in Lesotho (Pulane Children’s Centre)
Pulane Children’s Centre lies in the foot hills of Lesotho, Southern Africa. It is home to more than 90 orphans or vulnerable children caused by the AIDS epidemic. Aged between 0 – 20 they receive love and care in a Christian environment, attending local schools and keeping contact with their villages and Sutho culture in the holidays. Jill Kinsey, an English missionary, started the Centre and was in charge for 8 years. She retired in 2016 and continues to live there. Grant Strugnall, a missionary and South African pilot, now runs the centre with his wife Emily. We have regular contact with them.
Intercontinental Church Society (ICS), UK
ICS is an international Church of England mission agency: making known the good news of Jesus Christ to English-speakers living, studying, working or holidaying away from home in countries where English is not the main language. ICS works mainly in continental Europe and around the Mediterranean. It is funded entirely by donations from individuals, churches and trusts that share its aims.
Jurgens and Eleanor Krause
Jurgens and Eleanor Krause are workers at the orphan house ‘’Pasture Valley.’’ Pasture Valley Children’s home was established in 2003 with the aim of providing a loving, Christian home to neglected and orphaned children from the Shiselweni region of Swaziland, in the South of Swaziland. This mission partnership will be different from the other five in that Jurgens and Eleanor are planning to support themselves financially. So the partnership will be one of prayer support and occasional pastoral wisdom. The only financial element is that Jurgens can ask the Leadership team to make a collection appeal to the congregation if they get into a financial crisis.

She exists to fulfil the Great Commission. Her work is making disciples of all nations.” To enable this Open Doors educates Christians in the free world, seeking to motivate them to identify with threatened and persecuted Christians in praying for and actively helping them.
